CHAPTER 01 / THE ORIGINS OF PRECISION
A LEGACY BORN IN PRECISION.
In 1848, a young Swiss watchmaker named Louis Brandt began a journey that would help shape the future of precision watchmaking.
From the meticulous craftsmanship of his early workshop to the revolutionary 19-ligne calibre introduced by his sons in 1894, each advancement reflected a relentless pursuit of accuracy, reliability, and mechanical innovation.
The success of this pioneering movement would eventually give the company its name in 1903 — Omega.
What began at a watchmaker's bench became a lasting legacy of Swiss horological excellence.
